Arknights recently had a collaboration with the group Ave Mujica from the game BanG Dream. I thought the enemies were super cute and I wanted to model them. This project ended up scoping much bigger cause I decided just modeling a tooth wasn't enough - next I wanted to model more and more of the enemies, then why stop there? Why not learn animation and animate them while I'm at it?
So I learned how to animate in blender. I already knew rigging so how much of a step up could it be? It didn't end up being bad, and I'm proud of how they turned out. I actually wanted to make more enemies but I had to stop working on this since I had already sunk about 12 days into it.
Everything done in Blender, except for textures which were hand painted in Clip Studio Paint.
